Matcha Mango Mochi
Enjoy this tropical twist on a traditonal mochi recipe. Inside is a juciy ataulfo mango wrapped in a chewy Matcha mochi. It's the perfect snack to enjoy as summer ends.
Matcha Mango Mochi

INGREDIENTS
- • ¾ cup (120g) glutinous rice flour
- • 3 Tbsp (40g) sugar
- • 1 Tbsp (8g) cornstarch
- • 1 tsp (2g) Culinary Grade Matcha, sifted
- • ⅔ cup milk
- • 1 ripe ataulfo mango, peeled and halved
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Whisk together flour, sugar, cornstarch, and Culinary Grade Matcha.
- 2. Add milk and fold into a thick paste.
- 3. Microwave 2-3 minutes until translucent and doughy. Let it cool enough to touch.
- 4. Divide the dough in half and roll them out into an oval, about 1/2 cm thick.
- 5. Wrap one piece of mochi around one half of a mango. Pinch the ends closed then trim off excess.
