Green Tea Catechins May Help To Prevent H1N1 Influenza

As the new influenza strain, H1N1, spreads rapidly throughout the world, many analysts worry that it will worsen this winter season.
In light of these reports, last month, a Japanese newspaper released a study showing the high likelihood that catechins contained in green tea help to prevent infection by the H1N1 influenza virus.
In addition to the commonly known health benefits gained from antioxidants, ongoing research suggests that green tea catechins may provide many other benefits as well. Today we'd like to share a new study surrounding catechin's effect on warding off Influenza.
